A Summit County ski resort was the first in Colorado to hit a major milestone of 200 inches of snow this season.
Copper Mountain confirmed to FOX31 that they were the first resort to hit 200 inches of snow during the 2024-25 winter season, claiming the title of the “snowiest resort in Colorado.” To compare, 200 inches is roughly 16.6 feet. So, since opening day on Nov. 8, 2024, nearly 17 feet of snow has fallen.
