Bronx man presumed dead after boat capsizes
A Bronx man is still missing after authorities said he was on a boat that capsized over the weekend. The Coast Guard said 52-year-old Vernon Glasford and five other people were onboard a vessel that overturned on Sunday afternoon in the Ambrose Channel, about five miles from Breezy Point, Queens. Officials said three of those people are dead and two others were taken to local hospitals. The Coast Guard called off their search for Glasford on Monday evening after searching more than 800 square miles.
