A girl is in critical condition Saturday after a self-inflicted gunshot wound to her head. that a 9-year-old girl accidentally shot herself at a house in the 3500 block of Ingleside Avenue off Park Heights Avenue in northwest Baltimore’s Pimlico neighborhood. Baltimore police later confirmed officers were called around 3:16 p.m. for a shooting that’s being investigated as accidental and self-inflicted. Police said the girl is in critical condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Baltimore Police Commissioner Rich Worley said the girl was visiting her grandmother, but police are investigating whether the girl was alone in the house at the time of the shooting.
